Q. Why should I use RG?
A. RG immediately helps green-up dry or brown spots in ground-cover and turf, including those caused by dog urine, poor or
irregular irrigation or slope situations. RG re-hydrates soil beneath, and helps remove salts from, damaged areas about the
size of a dinner plate or smaller. It can also be used to reduce water consumption in, and green-up, potted indoor or
outdoor hand-watered plants – great for their overall health and for when you go on vacation.
Q. How is RG applied?
A. RG is in a ready-to-use trigger spray bottle. Just add recommended water after applying.
Q. When is the best time to apply RG?
A. Any time of year is good to apply RG. Best results are experienced when RG is applied to the brown, dry or urine spot
within 1-2 days of spot appearing. Larger urine spots may require immediate treatment for RG to be useful. RG must be
applied while a living root still exists.
Q. How fast can I expect to see improvements?
A. Spots will begin to green-up within just a few days of application. However, a full regeneration of plant or grass leaves
on a urine-caused spot will take several weeks.
Q. Is RG hazardous to people, pets, environment, building exteriors or hard-scape?
A. No. RG is non-toxic and non-staining. It is composed of mostly organic materials. Wash it off walkways to avoid slippery
conditions.
Q. Should RG be tilled into the soil?
A. No.
Q. Can I mix RG with liquid fertilizer?
A. Yes.
Q. Can I apply liquid or granular fertilizer before or after using RG?
A. Yes.
Q. Is RG a concentrate?
A. No. RG is a ready-to-use formula, for best results do NOT dilute it.
Q. Can RG be used on food-bearing plants and trees?
A. Yes. It is not hazardous to plant leaves and generally improves the quality of food-bearers.
Q. Is RG completely water soluble?
A. Yes, which is why it can come in a ready-to-use spray bottle and why it does not cause any kind of build-up in soil.
Q. What happens when it rains after I’ve applied RG?
A. RG will be moved even deeper into the soil profile, resulting in continued soil re-hydration and removal of accumulated
salts. RG will not be washed away or broken down by irrigation or rain, nor will it create soggy soil conditions.
Q. Will RG work on turf or ground-cover that is dead?
A. No. There must be a living root system for RG to work.
Q. Does RG have any effect on “Brown Patch” brown spot fungus?
A. Although RG has no fungicidal or pesticidal qualities, it helps create an environment on the leaves of plants and grass
that is not conducive to the growth of fungal pathogens.
